We want to make it as easy as is possible and welcome your questions. Below is an outline of the services we offer, but please do call us if you have questions or needs that reach beyond what is listed below.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY is a collaborative effort between you and your therapist. Our goal is to provide an open, supportive, and confidential environment for you to address the issues that are concerning you.
GROUP THERAPY services may be provided at one of our offices, or within the community. We offer a variety of group therapies including parenting, art therapy, critical incident stress debriefing, anger management (adults and teens), friends and family support group, relapse and prevention and recovery management. Call our office for more information on group therapy sessions and details about participating.
FAMILY THERAPY services are provided to help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts. Family therapy can help you improve troubled relationships. You may address specific issues such as marital or financial problems, the conflict between parents and children, or the effects of substance abuse or mental illness on the entire family.
MARRIAGE THERAPY, also called couples counseling, can help couples in all types of intimate relationships recognize and resolve conflicts and improve their relationships. Some couples seek marriage counseling to strengthen their bonds and gain a better understanding of each other. Marriage counseling can also help couples who plan to get married. Issues that can be addressed include communication, sexual difficulties, conflicts about parenting, finances, anger, infidelity, divorce, or you and your loved one's specific needs.
ANGER MANAGEMENT is a process of learning to recognize signs that you are becoming angry, and taking action to calm down and deal with the situation in a positive manner. Anger management doesn't try to keep you from feeling anger or encourage you to hold it in. Anger is a normal, healthy emotion when you know how to express it appropriately. Anger management is about learning how to do this.
